Hi everyone! We are Jessyca and Dean Durham, parents to three beautiful daughters and the world’s most lovable black dog named Moose. Welcome to our new business, Knotted Moose! Originally from Florida, our family was stationed in Alaska for 6 years (2009-2015) before being sent with the Air Force to Charleston, SC. Towards the end of our time in Alaska our family was introduced to Young Living essential oils as a natural way to support our health. When we moved to SC, our Young Living business really picked up, but so did our knack for reusing pallet wood to build furniture and other fun projects. Since we have a busy household and use oils in every room of the house, finding a way to organize oils that kept them off the counters was a goal of mine. In the summer of 2018, Dean was medically retired from the Air Force, causing our swift, yet anointed move back to Alaska… our true home. Knotted Moose is a collaboration of creativity meets necessity. Organization doesn’t have to be boring! We seek to use natural sealants, collected driftwood, and organic cord in as many of our projects as possible, so you can feel good about hanging these pieces on your wall as a home for your oils.
